Rosé 2024

KOSTAKI Rosé, a vibrant and fruit-forward wine crafted from the red mutation of our Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains grape. Sourced from our newest vineyard surrounding the winery, only a limited number of bottles are produced each year.

It is a light coloured rose dry wine, with booming aromatics. The aroma is a delightful mix of ripe red fruits and a hint of black pepper, complemented by a sharp acidity that lends the wine a refreshing quality. Bone-dry and lively, this wine is a perfect choice for those seeking a crisp and invigorating experience.

The grapes were hand harvested from young bush vines in the last week of July 2024. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are slightly squeezed and macerated under inert conditions for 2h before being pressed. After cold sedimentation (24H), the must was let to ferment with indigenous yeasts at 17C. The wine is then further aged on its fine lees, for 5 months in stainless steel and further 3 months in 4 a used Vicard barrel (500L). Small amounts of red wine (whole bunch fermentation for 10 days) from the same grapes were added to the final blend for additional structure.
