What wine critics say about Kostaki ALO

First impression is flinty and stony/mineral, very little sign of the Muscat character, more citrus and clementine than anything grapey or floral. [...] Distinctive style with impressive length. It doesn’t deny its Muscat origins but there is so much more to it than the grape variety.

About Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains

One of the world’s oldest grape varieties, long celebrated across the Mediterranean under countless local names and believed to originate from either Greece or Italy. On Samos, it dominates the landscape—over 98% of the island’s 1,400 hectares of vineyards are planted with this variety.

At KOSTAKI, almost all vineyards are established through massal selection, not generic nursery clones, ensuring deeper complexity, authenticity, and a uniquely expressive character in our wines.

Fun Fact: Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains means “small-berried Muscat.” While its berries are relatively large, they are the smallest within the Muscat family.
